The journey of PetroMech Pakistan started back in 1978 in UET Taxila, where the two friends and now business partners met. Mr. Shabir Hussain took up a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering while Mr. Altaf Asghar decided to do bachelor’s in Civil Engineering. After graduation, Mr. Shabbir Hussain decided to pursue a career in manufacturing, spending 35 years working in the industry, and retired as General Manager in an Oil and Gas Company. Mr. Altaf opted for a career in construction, co-founding a construction and engineering consultancy (Progressive Engineering Services) of which he is currently a managing partner. Capitalizing on the combined 70+ years of construction and manufacturing experience, the partners decided to venture into the business of Pre-cast Concrete Products.
The recent surge of concrete blocks and bricks factories, fueled by a boom in the real estate development, has flooded the market with substandard materials and products. PetroMech Pakistan was established to provide our customers with high quality products that stand out. Taping into our industry experience, we ensure that each product produced at our facility meets the highest quality standards out there.
